Toot My Horn

observations about music, electronics, and life

Pit Posse

My view in the pit

Here was my view in the pit last night. I was directing a first dress rehearsal of the Pajama Game, which despite the amount of sight-reading going on, was thrilling and terrifying at the same time.

We have a twelve-piece orchestra this time around and of course there are moments where it feels like I’m the only one playing. Sometimes I am the only one playing. Heaters, Mains, and Fuse Madness

I have been busy on the amp this weekend. I seem to keep hitting different snags slowing things down. The latest was yesterday where I couldn’t fit the 2A fuses I had into my fuse holder. I couldn’t figure it out. The fuse was the right size. I even measured it. Read the rest of this entry »
